About Pancakes On The Rocks Restaurants

The notion behind Pancakes On The Rocks goes back into the late 1950’s when a few intrepid Australians went to a road trip across America. They noticed the prevalence of pancakes in the menus from American restaurants and wished to bring this love of pancakes into Australia. They started their first restaurant in Adelaide in 1965 and opened around Victoria. The first founders split with a single going to Sydney and launching Pancakes On The Rocks. As a business we continued to pursue our vision of producing casual dining, family restaurants which comprised cakes and needed something for everybody on the menu.

Back in 1994, Pancakes On The Rocks embarked on a rebirth by adding to this menu, noodles, a brand new selection of salads, crepes, sandwiches as well as our now famous steak and pork ribs. The brand new look menu was quite popular for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dinner. To satisfy the rising demand for Pancakes On The Rocks we started another restaurant in Northmead in 2006, serving exactly the exact same the favorite dishes located at the restaurant.

Our goal of serving quality meals, with friendly service in a serene setting continues in our restaurants. With the ongoing success of Pancakes On The Rocks in each place we wish to open restaurants in Australia and across the world.
